Hi,

I have about 3000 rrd's with 3 data sources each.
An update of them is taking very long. It's taking about 5 minutes to update
all rrds (equals 0.1s per RRD). It seems to be CPU-limited, since the rrds
are on a tmpfs.

Is there a way to speed things up? I'd like to have one update per minute.

Hi

I would take a look at RRDCached. It is designed to be used when performance is important.

Thanks

Richard

I would be amazed if it made much of a difference on a tmpfs filesystem.

cheers
